BS in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, Yale University
I have two passions: infectious disease and the Midwest. I graduated from high school in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, kickstarting my interest in emerging infections. Prior to working at Grubaugh Lab, I spent my first year at Yale with Drosophila olfactory sensitivity and subsequent copulation rates. As an undergrad in the Vogels Lab, I work on dengue virus and Wolbachia relations and enjoy exploring the virus evolution and the epidemiological factors at play. I have a passion for disease in an interdisciplinary manner, and I am a part of Yale’s Global Health Scholrs Program through the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. When not in the lab, pouring away over textbooks, or in class, I love to swim, hike, paddle board, and ski race on the Yale Club Ski Team.
